Team Overview

B&M Retail manages in-store pharmacy operations, diagnostics, e-consultations, and customer experience, working closely with Warehousing, Merchandising, and Marketing teams.

Key Responsibilities

Financial & Sales:

• Achieve daily targets for sales including private labels, BigBasket, generics, high-margin categories, and diagnostics.
• Conduct prescription reminder calls; follow up on dormant/lapsed and high-value users.
• Maintain and review commitment registers for timely order closures.

Omnichannel Order Management:

• Achieve zero pushback on omnichannel orders.
• Ensure 100% TAT compliance for order processing.

Customer Service:

• Greet customers respectfully (folded hands).
• Address customer needs in-store and via calls/WhatsApp with 15–20 minute response time.
• Build professional, lasting customer relationships.
• Ensure home deliveries comply with business protocols.

Inventory Management:

• Accurate daily inventory inwarding and correct SKU placement.
• Remove expired, near-expiry, and non-moving items daily.
• Record bounced items and perform daily SKU physical audits.

Compliance & Banking:

• Maintain invoices and cold chain temperature records per SOP.
• Manage manual bill regularization and sales returns.
• Prepare and validate daily sales reports and cash ledgers during shift handovers.
• Respond promptly to store pharmacy emails.

Store Hygiene & Merchandising:

• Ensure cleanliness and proper arrangement of racks/shelves per VM SOP.
• Correctly tag discounts and display monetized brands.

Marketing & Promotions:

• Set up marketing materials as per guidelines.
• Participate in camps and door-to-door campaigns.
• Inform customers about ongoing offers and services.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Pharmacy with 1-3 years of experience.
• Valid State Pharmacy Council registration.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in computers and pharmacy software.
• Detail-oriented, ethical, and multitasking.
